Matt Mulherin made his amateur debut Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Harrington, Delaware in awesome fashion.  Matt showed everyone in that arena what happens when you combine hard work, heart and dedication.  Matt won his fight at 1:36 mark of the first round after executing a awesome double leg takedown, then a HUGE slam which apparently knocked his opponent out, followed by a text book fight ending armbar.  Special thanks go out to all of Matt's coaches and trainers, all of his training and sparring partners at The Grindhouse, and to all of his friends and family that came out to support him as he made his debut in the cage.  Look for Matt to return to the cage in early 2010.
